Infusion of Art and Technology into Curriculum

• Arts integrated programs enhance the understanding in core curriculum outside of the arts and provide in-depth learning in the arts while incorporating student-centered, inquiry and project-based learning.
• Skills and concepts will be demonstrated through the use of authentic instructional experiences and media
• Students will obtain a  high level of proficiency in technology due to daily integration with all subject areas
• Projects and products where students make reflective decisions with an arts and technology infused curriculum that demonstrates 21^st century skills
• Interdisciplinary themes will connect core content area classes to art, physical education, dance, music and media
• Field study opportunities related to themes

 Technology

• Kindergarten and first grade students will have access to computers designed to teach age-appropriate computer skills
• Second through fifth grade students will have access to technoloy throughout  school year
• Computer literacy classes offered to parents
